The United Arab Emirates is one of the richest places in the world in terms of attractions. They offer a huge variety of cultural and entertainment activities to suit every taste.

Many attractions can be reached through tours and excursions, but only a car allows complete freedom of movement. With a rented car, you can create your own schedule and route for the perfect trip.

Louvre in Abu Dhabi

The museum is located on Saadiyat Island and can be comfortably reached by car. A large parking area is available nearby (free of charge), and the museum itself is open from 10 am to 20:30 pm on all days of the week except Mondays.

Entrance to the Louvre is by ticket; children under eighteen years of age are admitted free of charge. The most interesting exhibits available at the Louvre Abu Dhabi are paintings rented from European museums. Works by such masters as Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, Claude Monet, and others are available for viewing.

The museum also attracts lovers of the culture of ancient civilizations. The exhibition includes various ancient statues, figures and other exhibits over two thousand years old. The entire museum is divided into twelve sections, telling the history of mankind in chronological order - from antiquity to modern times.

Louvre Abu Dhabi is also famous for its unique architecture. The building is surrounded by water and has ceilings that let in daylight, creating a unique experience. The place is perfect to brighten up your beach holiday and get to know world culture and history better.

Dubai Frame

The Dubai Frame is one of the city's newest attractions. This is another grand structure that is worth visiting in Dubai. This unusually shaped building is worth a visit for its unique architecture, but inside there is also plenty to do to suit every taste. 

To begin with, you can visit the multimedia gallery of old Dubai. The exhibition demonstrates the history of Dubai's transformation from a small fishing town into a modern metropolis. On the upper floors of Frame you can enjoy beautiful views of the city. From the north side you can see the historical part of Dubai, from the south you can see the modern areas of the city. There are other exhibitions on site. Visitors can also dine at one of the cafes located in the building. We advise you to go closer to sunset, keep in mind that you can stand in line - from 15 to 120 minutes. More often it is half an hour. Upstairs you can take interesting photos for Instagram, as well as shoot stories about how the floor turns from matte to transparent.

Yas Waterworld (Abu Dhabi)

Yas Waterworld is the largest water park in Abu Dhabi. On its territory there are more than twenty slides and attractions for visitors of all ages. Young travelers can have a great time in children's corners, small pools and gentle slides. Older tourists will get an adrenaline rush on the more extreme descents.

You can safely spend the whole day visiting the water park. In addition to water slides, Yas Waterworld regularly organizes exciting events. Before your trip, you can check the events calendar so you don't miss out on these activities. There are several cafes and souvenir shops on site.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Abu Dhabi)

The emirate of Abu Dhabi is less than two hours' drive from Dubai. You can book excursions from Dubai to many of the emirate’s attractions, but it will be much more comfortable to visit them by rented car. This will allow you to create your own route without having to adapt to other tourists.

The mosque amazes with its beauty. This is one of the largest religious buildings in the world. The building is also called the White Mosque and is worth a visit for all architecture lovers. Outside, the huge snow-white building dazzles with its beauty, and inside, it amazes with its interior.

You can visit the mosque on your own; you do not need to purchase tickets. Tourists planning to stay overnight in Abu Dhabi should definitely pay attention to the structure after sunset - it is decorated with stunning lighting from the outside.

Before visiting, it is important to note that the main hall is closed on Fridays from 12 to 15 hours, and you cannot enter inside in revealing clothes. Ample parking is available in the vicinity of the mosque, so drivers of rented cars can comfortably visit this attraction. If the visit lasts, you can satisfy your hunger in one of the cafes and restaurants located within walking distance of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

Ferrari World (Abu Dhabi)

Returning to a simpler holiday, in Abu Dhabi you can also visit the Ferrari World branded theme park. The place will delight visitors of all ages with a wide selection of slides. The most notable attractions of Ferrari World:

After a ride on adrenaline rides and breathtaking attractions, you can have a snack at one of the restaurants operating within the park. Ferrari brand stores are also available here, selling a variety of souvenirs with the logos of the famous company.

You can comfortably get to the park by rented car. A large parking lot is available on the territory of Ferrari World, where you can safely leave your vehicle while visiting the attractions. The park itself is usually open from 12:00 to 20:00, but opening hours on the day of your planned visit should be clarified in advance.

Miracle Garden – Garden of Miracles (Dubai)

Miracle Garden was opened in February 2013 in Dubai. This is an incredibly picturesque place, full of bright colors. You can get to the garden with a tour, by bus, or by taxi, but it will be most convenient to visit the attraction by car. 

There are about 100 million different flowers in the garden. Some are neatly planted in well-groomed flower beds, others are intertwined into unusual shapes. There are many flower arrangements on the territory: from a small green deer to a huge multi-colored bear. The main attraction of the garden are copies of famous buildings, which are also made from plants. 

In the garden you can take a photo under the heart frame, next to the display of the Emirates Airline A380 aircraft and the sculpture “Soaring in the Skies”. Also nearby is a huge dome where almost 15,000 butterflies of different species live. There are several cafes on the territory of the Miracle Garden where you can have a snack after viewing the compositions. You can also simply relax in the shade on one of the many benches that the garden is equipped with. It is worth considering that the garden is closed in the summer to update the compositions.

Ski Dubai and Emirates Mall (Dubai)

The next attraction will surprise tourists with an unexpected contrast. After touring the hot desert, visitors to Dubai can head to the real ski resort Ski Dubai. This indoor complex is open all year round, allowing guests of the emirate to go skiing and snowboarding at any time.

The place can also be conveniently reached by car. It is located in the Mall of the Emirates, which allows you to quickly reach it from anywhere in Dubai. Plenty of parking spaces are available on site. Motorists will be able to visit Ski Dubai in comfort.

A special point to note is the famous show “Breakfast with Penguins”. This is an entire event in which tourists learn more about these animals, spend time with them and take beautiful pictures. It is worth mentioning that tickets to the show and photographs by local professional photographers are purchased for a fee.

Safari Park (Dubai)

Safari Park is another place worth visiting in Dubai. Visitors are given the opportunity to look at more than three thousand animals of 250 different species. The 119 hectare area is divided into three main sections: African Village, Asian Village, and Arabian Desert.

The animals are kept in a recreated cage-free habitat, and movement between areas of the safari park occurs by car. Many animals are allowed to be fed. You can order several types of safaris in the park with comfortable travel to the most interesting places. Various events and shows are also regularly organized on site.

On average, a visit to the safari park will take about three hours. There are cafes and restaurants in the park where you can dine in a natural environment. It is recommended to visit the park out of season, when the temperature is conducive to outdoor walks.

Al Montazah Amusement Park (Sharjah)

Al Montazah Amusement Park is one of the most interesting places in Sharjah for tourists traveling with the whole family. Al Montazah offers both water rides and roller coasters. The water park offers a wide selection of slides for visitors of different ages. There are calm children's areas and high-speed water slides for adults.

The same can be said about the Al Montazah amusement park. The youngest visitors will be able to ride a train through the park, take a smooth ride on a hot air balloon ride with beautiful views, ride a Ferris wheel, and try out many other children's attractions. For adults, the park has both moderate and extreme slides. The most avid adrenaline junkies will love the local free fall tower.

There are many food outlets, shops and additional activities available throughout the amusement park. The park has ample parking, making it a great place to visit with a rental car. Al Montazah regularly hosts special events, so you may want to check the events calendar before your trip.

Meydan Bridge (Dubai)

Meydan Bridge is another architectural and engineering achievement of Dubai. This is a unique wave-shaped bridge 450 meters long, which can be crossed by car. The bridge also has pedestrian areas. Tourists also love to go out into the middle of the road and take beautiful pictures with the city in the background.

Unlike previous attractions, Meydan Bridge should be used as an intermediate point on the route. There isn't much to do on or around the bridge, so visiting it won't take long. It is highly recommended to visit the bridge at night: this will allow you to enjoy its mesmerizing illumination in blue tones. You can also come to the bridge early in the morning: at this time of day there are very few tourists on it.
